Our client is at the forefront of developing innovative financial solutions. They have built a state-of-the-art Treasury Management System (TMS) and are seeking a dynamic Senior Tester to join their ambitious team during this exciting phase of expansion.
As a Senior Tester for their Treasury Management System (TMS), you will be responsible for ensuring the system’s reliability, accuracy, and efficiency. TMS is a crucial system for corporate finance, which helps in managing an enterprise’s liquidity, investments, and financial instruments such as derivatives and currency.
As a Senior Tester, you will be responsible for:
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans.
- Engage in both manual and automated testing, ensuring all features perform to the highest standard.
- Provide mentorship to junior testing staff and contribute to team training and development initiatives.
- Identify potential issues and lead troubleshooting efforts.
- Keep updated with industry standards and best practices, introducing them into their processes.
- Report on the status, quality, and potential risks associated with the system in development.
This role is predominantly office based with the ability to work from home 1-2 days per week based on business needs. During probation you will be required to work from the office full time.
Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience in testing financial applications, particularly TMS and or payments platforms.
- Experience in various testing methodologies – functional, regression, performance, API.
- Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- An understanding of security testing techniques to ensure data protection and confidentiality.
- Understanding of treasury management processes such as cash management, forecasting, transaction management, financial instruments, reconciliation process, payments, and general treasury operations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in testing tools (WebDriver IO, Cucumber, Postman, DevOps, JIRA).
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, and data validation techniques.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Educational background and certification.
- At least bachelor’s degree in finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant quality assurance qualifications can be advantageous.
- Knowledge in financial and treasury management is required.
