The Senior Options Sales position is a critical role contributing to their ongoing success. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive options sales strategy, acquiring new clients across global territories, and providing exceptional service to existing clients. This role offers the freedom and flexibility to operate with minimal geographical restriction, supported by industry-leading provisions in product and credit.
What you will do
Options Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive options sales strategy, including identifying potential clients and market segments, creating value propositions, and pricing models;
- Stay updated with market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to provide valuable insights and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate clients, ensuring their needs are met and addressing concerns promptly;
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their risk management needs, and offering suitable options trading solutions.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies concerning options trading and sales practices;
- Implement risk management protocols to minimize exposure and protect the company’s interests.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor global financial markets and economic indicators, providing timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders;
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role
- Proven experience in FX options sales within the financial services industry and FX market;
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management and achieving sales targets;
- Strong understanding of financial markets, options trading strategies, and risk management principles;
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts to both internal and external stakeholders;
- Proven track record of working within a regulated investment firm;
- Demonstrated senior-level experience in a commercial environment;
- In-depth knowledge of markets and the regulatory environment in which an FX firm operates;
- Familiarity with liquidity provider trading systems (Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Morgan Stanley, etc.).
